Goldman's Steakhouse ("we", "us") operates this website at goldmanssteakhouse.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

What we collect

We only collect information that you give us directly. Specifically:

• Reservation and catering enquiries — your name, phone number, email address (if provided), preferred branch, event date, party size, and any notes you add to the message field.
• WhatsApp opt-in — if you tick the box on the enquiry form, we record that you've consented to receive reservation updates and occasional offers on WhatsApp.
• Basic analytics — when we add analytics in the future (Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel), the site will collect aggregated, anonymised usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. We'll update this policy before that goes live.

We do not collect payment information on this website. All payments happen in-person at the restaurant or through third-party services (Swiggy, Zomato, EazyDiner) whose own privacy policies apply.

How we use it

• To respond to your reservation or catering enquiry.
• To confirm and remind you of bookings (by phone or WhatsApp, if you've opted in).
• To send occasional offers, birthday/anniversary wishes, or new menu announcements — only if you've explicitly opted in.
• To improve our service based on what you tell us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties for their marketing.

Who processes your data on our behalf

A small number of trusted service providers help us operate the site. We share only what they need:

• Form processing — enquiries are delivered to us via a hosted form service (Formspree or similar). They store submissions briefly to deliver them and do not use the data for any other purpose.
• Hosting and CDN — the website runs on Cloudflare. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) may be retained for security and performance, typically for 30 days.
• WhatsApp messaging — when we begin sending WhatsApp updates, we'll use an authorised WhatsApp Business Solution Provider (BSP). They process messages under Meta's data policy.

Your rights

Under Indian law, you have the right to:

• Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate or out-of-date data corrected.
• Have your data deleted (subject to any legal obligations to retain it).
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp marketing at any time — reply "STOP" to any message we send, or email us.
